take a moment to parse this
Yet more ripped from the headlines, and put into Harper’s Weekly Journal of Civilization. This particular tidbit is an entire, tragic novel in one, little sentence:
A Vidalia, Georgia, man who had married the widow of the man whose suicide provided him with a heart transplant twelve years ago committed suicide.
After you’ve taken a moment to wrap your brain around that, let’s talk about 1) the woman, and 2) the mind/body problem in philosophy.
